Hoy Fin de Semana Expands in New York and Los Angeles
CHICAGO, Oct. 5, 2006 – Hoy, the nation's leading Spanish-language newspaper, with daily editions in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, today announced significant expansion plans for its weekend publication, Hoy Fin de Semana.
Effective October 7, Hoy Fin de Semana will achieve national reach, with editions in all three Hoy markets. It will replace Hoy's current New York Saturday edition, with a distribution of 60,000 copies. In addition, Hoy Fin de Semana recently increased its distribution in Los Angeles by 50 percent, to 300,000 homes, making it the largest Hispanic weekend publication in the market. With the conversion in New York, expansion in Los Angeles and the current Chicago audited distribution of over 217,000, Hoy Fin de Semana will have a circulation of over 570,000 copies weekly.
